Orthopaedics is at the heart of the Vidymed Group's mission. Present at the Vidy site since 1992, then at the Épalinges site since 2014, the workshop and orthopaedic equipment store effectively complement the multidisciplinary services offered by the Group's general practitioners and specialists. In 2019, the acquisition of Orthopédie Riedo in Bulle, founded by Marcel Riedo in 1991, enabled the Vidymed Group to expand its range of services and gain access to a custom production workshop.

Foot supports

Whatever your activities, whether professional or recreational, standing, walking and running put constant strain on your feet.

Foot supports are an effective and valuable aid in distributing pressure under the arches of the feet more evenly, providing you with better support.

Production of supports

During our first consultation with the patient, we carry out a complete podiatric analysis in order to identify their requests and needs.
Then comes the time to produce the insoles. Using a computer programme coupled with a 3D digital analysis of the patient's feet, we make the optimal corrections necessary for the production of the foot supports.
Next, our CNC milling machine shapes the supports from EVA blanks, the density of which is determined according to the patient's needs.
Once this work is complete, the patient returns to our premises to try on their insoles. During this appointment, we adapt the insoles to their different pairs of shoes.
Finally, after three weeks, we conduct a follow-up visit to ensure the effectiveness of our products
